Good Friday morning family!

"I look up to the mountains-does my help come from there?" No! "My help comes from the LORD, who made the heavens and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber." (Psalm 121:1-3)

These verses are a great reminder for God's children because God's children can be confident that no matter what comes our way, or the help we need to make it through the day, God is our help! He is the Lord of all and is more than able to handle anything that comes our way. "Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us His true word. And we, out of all creation, became His prized possession." (James 1:17-18) Rejoice child of God, God is your help. He will not let you stumble. You live in the light; and out of all creation, you are His prized possession! I encourage you to "stop" right now and rest in His never-ending love as you thank Him for His, help, protection, grace, mercy, love, forgiveness, and compassion!

Sunday we continue in our "All In" series as we look at Colossians 1:15-19. In these verses, Paul & Timothy transition from greeting and prayer to teaching and discipleship. As they do, they explain to the church in Colossae that Jesus has always been, and will always be, because Jesus is supreme over all things. In other words, everything is Jesus and Jesus is everything. When we understand the supremacy of Jesus, we will also understand that life today, and for eternity, is about Jesus only. Sunday we will also celebrate the Lord's Supper, offer the ministry of healing for those who are sick, worship through songs, giving, fellowship, and Scripture reading as we exalt Jesus in all that we do and say.

I look forward to worshiping with you Sunday!

God loves you and so do I!
