Hi Church Family!
This past Wednesday evening, at our worship and prayer time, I shared a short devotion from Isaiah 55, and in today's P.K.'s Korner, I want to share a little bit from that devotion with all of you.
In Isaiah 55:8-9 the prophet declares that our God's thoughts are nothing like our thoughts, and His ways are far beyond anything we could imagine. "For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts higher t

Hi Church Family!
I was reminded, on my walk to the office today, what king David wrote in Psalm 19. "The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. It bursts forth like a radi

Hi Church Family!
In my devotions this morning I was reminded that when we aren't sure of something that God has said to us, it's okay to ask Him for a sign. In Judges 6:36-40, Gideon asked the Lord for a sign, not just one sign, but two. Guess what, the Lord answered Gideon's request, not once, but twice. "Then Gideon said to God, 'If you are truly going to use me to rescue Israel as you promised, prove it to me in this way. I will put a wool fleece on the threshing floor

Hi Church Family!
As we approach Holy Week, I want to encourage us to keep our "eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne." (Hebrews 12:2)
As we keep our eyes on Jesus, let's never forget that Jesus had His eyes on us, when He hung on the cross and paid the price of our sin, and not just our sin, but the sins of t

Hi Church Family!
Brenda and I thank you so very much for your support, expressions of love, and most importantly, your prayers on her behalf. We rejoice that she is in remission and know that Jesus will continue to provide for her through each step of recovery. God has declared that He "will never fail you, I will never abandon you. So we can say with confidence, 'The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?'" (Hebrews 13:5-6)

Hi Family!
Just yesterday God reminded me that He is for me and that He does indeed works all things for my good. This is even true when I don't understand what He has placed in my heart, how He's leading me, when He seem to be "quiet" and I'm not, and when I'm confused because I don't get it.
As I've been pondering a dream He gave me over a month ago, and as He continues to add to it more details, the Holy Spirit led me to a truth, that I don't have to understand, and it's

Hi Church Family!
I hope you are well and that this past week you've had opportunities to experience the fellowship of Jesus and the fellowship with other believers. Fellowship with one another is vitally important to the life of believers as John said "If we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) The question I often wonder is, do we as members of God'

Hi Church Family!
As I'm typing this blog post "Goodness of God" is playing in the background and once again the lyric moved my heart to stop, remember, and give praise to God for indeed God is good all the time and all the time God is good! Here are the lyrics to the chorus of "Goodness of God": "All my life You have been faithful. All my life You have been so so good. With every breath that I am able I will sign of the goodness of God." As children of God, let's never fo

Good Friday morning family!
"I look up to the mountains-does my help come from there?" No! "My help comes from the LORD, who made the heavens and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber." (Psalm 121:1-3)
These verses are a great reminder for God's children because God's children can be confident that no matter what comes our way, or the help we need to make it through the day, God is our help! He is the Lord of all and is more than

Hi Church Family!
"Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God." (Philippians 1:3) These words that Paul wrote in his greeting to the church in Philippi resonate in my heart as well for Cornerstone Church Blue Earth.
There is so much to thank God for as I ponder and think about the community of faith that worships together at Cornerstone Church. As a community of faith, we have declared a mission of changing lives through God's unchanging truth, and a vision which
